Job Description

Room Leader - Notting Hill An excellent Room Leader is required to maintain the high standards of care and education already in place in a Nursery that prides itself on prividing quality childcare. You will require strong staff management skills and will have ideally managed your own room previously, or have experience in supervising staff. You will understand how to communicate with a range of parents and professionals and provide excellent customer service at all times. You will model good practice for staff at all times and ensure all policies and rocedures are adhered to. This Nursery has a strong focus on developing their staff and will always promote from within the team, where possible. Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:

To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS To work in partnership with the parents To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Have experience of working with children
