Job Description

Room Leader - Babies A warm, friendly Room Leader is required to manage the Baby Room in a lovely Chigwell Nursery - close to transport links. You will require a good knowledge of Babies and their development as well as their changing needs as they grow and learn. You will be approachable for parents and be able to advise and support them with questions and concerns regarding their baby. This position will suit a confident Nursery Nurse looking to take the next step, or a Room Leader looking for a new setting where they can develop their career and experience. You will require strong staff management skills as well as a professional and committed approach to your work.

Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:

To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS To work in partnership with the parents To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Have experience of working with children
