TCL/LJ Westminster PJC/KF: Our client seeks 2 contract monitoring officers for an assignment within the parking services department of its transportation and highways division.
We are acting for a central London based local authority
The posts will be located in Westminster, SW1 and will be for 36 hpw, Mon-Fri, normal business hours.
This is anticipated to be, initially at least, a 3 month assignment.
Essence of role:
1. To monitor by systematic and random checks the quality of all outputs managed by the back office as part of the performance monitoring programmes and procedures in liaison with the Service Provider(s). This includes regular quality and process audit checks against specific contract standards and relevant legislation.
2. To review and approve decisions and monitor the performance of the City Council’s Parking Services providers and the quality of the investigation undertaken, ensuring that policy, procedures and processes have been adhered to at each stage.
3. Assess the outcome and effectiveness of internal quality monitoring of the back office and ensure that corrective and preventative actions are raised when required and followed up, providing necessary management information and progress reports to monitor performance and compliance.
Candidate requirements (*indicates must be CLEARLY EVIDENT FROM YOUR CV, not just your covering letter, to avoid auto-rejection by client):
*UK parking services experience to representations officer level or higher within a local authority.
*contract monitoring, management or administration experience in respect of external service providers
office administration experience within a large organisation
